From 1920s jazz queen to Lenka Dusilova and ZAZ. Yet don’t be fooled – the person singing throughout was the one and only Melody Gardot and the concert a stand-alone original. With an effortless ability to switch styles, virtuous a capella singing, personal comments thrown into the lyrics here and there, flawless mood changes and capacity to hold her own among a fantastic entourage of instrumentalists, Gardot injected incredible energy into the show right from the first song. full article

There’s only one James Morrison. Whether on the trumpet, trombone, saxophone or piano, or even the trumpet and piano together, the music of this multitalented star always fills us with inspiration. And each and every one of us will surely savour this delectable experience by Morrison, his fellow musicians and delightful guest singer for a long time to come. full article
The Czech National Symphony Orchestra chamber soloist stars already garnered plenty of justified praise on our website presentation for this concert. And I’m delighted to say that the excellent programme selection combined with the captivating atmosphere of an almost jam-packed Martinů hall at Liechtenstein Palace made for a truly wonderful concert. full article
Last night’s concert from The Joey Alexander Trio was simply amazing – not least due to its leader being just thirteen years of age, but also the manner in which he presented his interpretation of jazz. full article
This evening dedicated to melodies from the big screen ranks among our most popular and well-attended events organised as part of the festival. Once again we opted for a Hollywood production but as the word “Classic” in the title suggests, this time around the films exclusively featured music penned by some of the world’s greatest composers. full article
Having spent a lifetime touring the world’s stages, clubs, pubs and anywhere that took his fancy, it’s truly astonishing to see such a phenomenon as Laco Deczi still standing. Especially when you hear and see him perform in the flesh. full article
This wasn’t the first occasion we’ve had to host Jeremy Winston and his Chorale at our festival, and going by the amazing experiences in previous years, we couldn’t wait to welcome them back. With such a natural presence on stage, impressive vocal range and timbre, not to mention capacity to relate to the audience and infectious sense of fun, they really are well worth witnessing first-hand. full article
After so many rave reviews in the official media following Edita Gruberová’s show, I didn’t feel any urge or desire to pass comment on this concert. But almost one week later, I’m still hearing about the magical impact she had on all those who managed to make it along. full article

Tickets for this Mnozil Brass concert sold out way ahead of time - clear testimony to the solid fan base the ensemble have garnered over the years. And at the end of the day, who could possibly resist such a great interpretation of their multi-genre repertoire enriched with acrobatic moves, well rehearsed gags, punchy rhythms and flawless intonation? full article
