CNSO Chamber Soloists

Whenever we talk of our CNSO chamber soloists, there is actually little need for any kind of group biography.  Why you may ask? Well, all are automatically also members of the entire Czech National Symphony Orchestra, where incidentally, they also assume the top “front row” positions. They have no problem performing solo concerts, though it’s true most of the time the solos occur within symphonic compositions – as cadences for instance. Some of you may think surely that’s easier but you couldn’t be further from the truth. Such cadences frequently come along unexpectedly, above all in modern compositions, and this is where the professionalism, dexterity, technical skill of the concertmaster is put to the test. So much so that when all of this comes together, the whole thing looks like a walk in the park to anyone watching!  Whenever six such leaders come together to work on a composition, it’s safe to say we can expect something pretty special. But don’t just take our word for it, dear Audience. Why not come along to the Liechtenstein Palace and judge for yourselves!
